Batu Caves

Batu Caves is a limestone hill and the biggest Hinddu Temple Cave, in the Gombak district, 13 KM (8 miles) north of Kuala Lumpur.The caves has a 100m-high ceiling, to reach the main cave you have to climb stairways 272 steps.

BE AWARE;
YOUR're facing the wildlife monkeys which attract with the offering food." So Please don't feed the monkeys" and be aware not too bring food which will attract the monkeys to follow you!
And be aware the floor very slippery during wet, walk slowly and wear good foot wear to climb the stairs.

Great View;
Enjoy the nice view when you reach to the entrance of the cave, in good weather you can see the Petronas Twin Tower from here.


Lord Murugan statue is about 42.7-meter (141 feet) tall, It is located at the Sri Subramaniar Temple at the foot of Batu Caves.

Getting Here:
KTM Kommuter 
Port Klang – Batu Caves line
A convenient place to catch the train is from KL Sentral.
Batu Caves is 13 KM from the city center and a taxi should not cost too much if they use the meter.
DRIVING
If you plan to drive, it is just off the MRR2 Jalan Ipoh roundabout. 
From Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Kuching - Jalan Ipoh, turn up to Bulatan Batu Caves and take the 3 o’clock exit. Batu caves is at the next exit.
