Borneo Rainforest lodge or known as BRL located 2hours gravel road from small town of Lahad Datu.

The Borneo Rainforest Lodge is a international-standard lodge built alongside the Danum River. Danum Velley Conservation Area -43,8000 Hestares of pristine and undisturbed tropical flora and fauna.

Danum Valley Rainforest is heavenly home to more than;

 340 species of Birds,

 124 species of Mammals,

   72 species of Reptiles,

   56 species of Amphibians and more than 

 200 species of plants.

The lodge only have 31 Chalets that can accommodates a maximum of 60 people a day with Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner. The Chalets are installed with ceiling fans, sliding open doors to the amazing nature view with extra relaxing sound from the rainforest' sound of the nature'.

Lodge activities include jungle walks, bird watching with resident nature guides,and the only place in Sabah you can find this 300m in length and stand at 26m at the highest point of canopy walkways of Danum Valley.

the leaf's are called "Tree Huger" its climb along the tree towards the sunlight.

Amazing Tree Top Canopy Walk of BRL, and the two model are my Dad Roberto& my Brother Steven.

The suspension cable are hung between dipterocarp and mengaris trees at 15-25m up the trunks - barely half the height of these enormous trees but sensationally within the rainforest canopy. Each suspension point there is an octagonal shaped observation platform which allows the user time to rest before the nest airy bridge.

The Walkway are"tree friendly" without rigging any of steel cables direct into the trees.

DANUM VALLEY CONSERVATION CENTRE (DVFC)

Located 80km from Lahad Datu town, east coast of Sabah. Journey takes 2hrs gravel road.

One of the world renowned scientific facility in the Yayasan Sabah Forest Management Area, on the edge of 438sq km, the largest remaining area of undisturbed lowland dipterocarp forest in Sabah.
The Centre was set up in 1986 for purpose of research, education,training and wilderness recreation. DVFC boats an amazing diversity of animal life including endangered Sumatran rhino, pygn elephant, tembadau(banteng),sun bear, orang utan, clouded leopard.Some 275 species of Birds including 8species of Bornean Hornbill.

Basic Accommodation in DVFC : 
2 VIP Chalets room  - each can sleep 2-3 people
7 Resthouse -each can sleep 2-3 people
48 Bed hostel -can sleep 48 people one time, toilet and facilities are shared
Breakfast, Lunch and dinner are simple home style cooked and self service buffet.
