Sakar Island (Pulau Sakar) Pulau Sakar located in Lahad Datu 5km away from the mainland one of the nearest Island in Lahad Datu area. Lowland Ultramafic Forest once Gazetted as Virgin Jungle Reserved Class 4 in 1965 with total area 760ha.19years later in March,14 1984 the forest reserved re-gazetted as class 6, mainly secondary forest Due to the increasing of the population,farming activities, Oil palm activities and illegal settlement. 10-15min boat ride to the Island from the local jetty near the fish market in lahad datu. The island almost covered all around with narrow strip of mangrove forest with ultramafic soil. Which a home for the fireflies of Pulau Sakar (sakar fireflies) - The mangrove stars. Some local also said there few wildlife that always destroyed there farm, as the wild boar. Biography Archeology study shown that the earlier human(paleolithic) community stay in Tinkayu and Madai Cave.It was the time when early humans gained increasing control over their surroundings and later saw the emergence of modern humans around 20,000 years ago. Stone tool manufacturing developed a more sophisticated tool making technique which permitted the creation of more controlled and consistent flakes. Hunting provided the primary food source but people also began to exploit shellfish and may have begun smoking and drying meat to preserve it. This would have required a mastery of fire and some sites indicate that plant resources were managed through selective burning of wide areas. Best Pork Satay Relocated

I been visited one of the tasty BBQ Pork Satay, in Melaka, but not the Jalan Kuli anymore because of Loi Satay! already relocated to New Place@!! Today I visited the place again and it's not there, try to find it and found the new location which a 15minutes walking distance from the current location. this place a food corner for local to eat, and others varieties of local delicacies can be found here. Pork Satay Local taste is unique, which I believe the tourist or visitor can't spoil the market with their bad complaint! BUT to give a positive feedback for improvement and maintain the local price and the food qualities. pork Intestine satay some others stall, take advantages even the food qualities are dropping! we as the customer have a very strong impact on this changes, so if we want to maintain the quality we need to have qualities of a good customer to maintain the value of what we consume! taste food :) must try.. 13th October 2019 Sunday Silam Environment Awareness Educational Program. This would be our second trip. After overwhelming requests from our last trip in September, and more requests for another trip. This time event focusing on Beach Clean Up at Pulau Burung and coral identification. This Educational Trips open for those who really wanted to participate in volunteering and learning. We try to introduces the importance of Corals and the environment, to people specially for the 1st time gong into the water the open sea. The main purpose to give a great impact to our group so that they're aware how beautiful the underwater without pollutions. And encourage the locals to be participating in this Awareness Program.
