Towards the end of the 19th Century settled in the New Darvel Bay Tobacco Company in Lahad Datu . The Licensed by the North Borneo Chartered Company began business in a big way with tobacco farming. HISTORY Von Donop's primary task was to introduce the right type of crops for Sabah. He decided to experiment with tobacco. Sanders, a tobacco planter from Deli in Sumatra, was enlisted to explore the area south of the Marudu Bay at Bandau, Bongon and Bengkoka River in order to determine their suitability for the planting of tobacco. The first experiment was carried out by Sanders in 1883 at the Suanlamba River near Sandakan as a project of the China Sabah Land Farming Company, a Chinese-European joint venture company that was floated in Shanghai. I been visited one of the tasty BBQ Pork Satay, in Melaka, but not the Jalan Kuli anymore because of Loi Satay! already relocated to New Place@!! Today I visited the place again and it's not there, try to find it and found the new location which a 15minutes walking distance from the current location. this place a food corner for local to eat, and others varieties of local delicacies can be found here. Pork Satay Local taste is unique, which I believe the tourist or visitor can't spoil the market with their bad complaint! BUT to give a positive feedback for improvement and maintain the local price and the food qualities. pork Intestine satay some others stall, take advantages even the food qualities are dropping! we as the customer have a very strong impact on this changes, so if we want to maintain the quality we need to have qualities of a good customer to maintain the value of what we consume! taste food :) must try.. A Great Getaway

Another Day with new Adventure! The season of getaway just started... After selected a new team for the new season, here's come 2016. Everyone have very unique personality and attractive... This what makes the team are special. Bagus Place Retreat once again open its door to the world with new improvement and new challenges, THIS TIME with a great new team a great new adventures. 13th everyone gather in our Head quarters for the 1st time, the CEO of the company give some incouragement words. Then the introduction of the place. We all gather in Terminal Bersatu Selatan taking the midnight 11:30pm bus to Mersing. 14th it's Valentine's we reach Mersing Johor at 5am and taking the 12noon ferry to Tioman. One day trips from Kuala Lumpur to Mersing tools 5-6hours by road. And another 1hrs and 30minutes via ferry. Reach Tioman we all stop at Genting the 1st stop. Chin Swee Temple is located not far from Genting , it along the way to the Genting World Resort Temple is specially build for honouring the Goddess of mercy and Sitting Buddha. you will also see the statue of Late Dato Sri Lim Goh Tong and history of the late founder of Genting Highlands. Do not missed the temple if you were driving up to Genting Highlands. It is beautifully build for tourist and worshipper alike. Inside the pagoda, you could see 10000 buddhas covering the entire inner wall from ground floor to the top.
