Temuan Tribe one of the unique communities of Indigenous in Kuala Kubu Bharu. Hulu Selangor Malaysia. this community been relocated to three locations one near the small town of Kuala Kubu Bharu and two village near the Dam (water supply of selangor) road to Fresher Hills. the original villages called Kampung Gerachi and Kampung Pertak. after more the 10years my last project studying the Temuan Community, today another day im visited this this family. good to know that the family still remember me and happy to see them too. the culture , the art crafting and the dance culture was  disappearing without new young leader to preserve the Temuan Heritage. this lady i called Amak -mean mother in Temuan langauge: the only temuan lady i always visited everytime im in Kuala Lumpur, it just an 1hr journey from the city. some of nice photo during the visit : Add caption Amak Main Kitchen with Amak neighborhood amak with her two daughter Woo...

KKB, Beautiful weather with a calm day, im resting today,mean OFF day! just another perfect day to bring my dog Samedi for a walk :)... before a group of Movie stars knocking in front of the doors... Well in the first place i don't  recognized the actor.. i don't watch television... specially drama local movies "sorry" :( Most of my time was in the forest hiking and in this hour, i supposed going for a walk to the ASLI village with my samedi..Maybe not today.. Our Guest House just finish refurnish and not open for public yet.                         TORCH GINGER WildGinger ( family Etlingera elatior) : Torch Ginger (Malay: Bunga Kantan./ Indonesian : Bunga Kecombrang or honje/  Thai : Kaalaa) have a special aroma which used for cooking and common in Asian dishes. Water Spider (Water Strider) known in Japanese words MIZU SUMASHI (whirligig) AMENBO (water strider). From Family : Gerridae( insect)   Length : 1.6mm to 36mm. their body shape ranges from slender and elongate to almost completely round. One command feature is their elongated legs which use for moving over the water surface. The body and legs are covered with tiny hairs. The head is usually elongated in front of the eyes to form a rostrum. They use water surface tension when mating. Ecology : Predatory insect  they live on the surface of ponds slow streams, marshes, and other quiet water. they hunt...

Clock tower Monument of Kuala Kubu Bharu Kuala Kubu Baharu or known as KKB by local, is a town in the north of Selangor. Old town known  as Kuala Kubu was destroy by great flood in 1883, caused by broken DAM near the town. Many among the local drowned and lost their home, one of the flood victims included Kuala Kubu District Officer Sir Cecil Ranking ( during British era). Miracles when two holy places survived the flood. Buddhist Temple and malay Mosque. now this old town been known as Ampang Pecah mean "Broken Dam" After the tragedy, the British government decided to build a new town near the remains of Kuala Kubu. Now the new town called Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB). Then since 1980's residential house been develop in the old town of Ampang Pecah and Kuala Kubu Bharu. KUALA KUBU BHARU This just a simple stories of my single journey to the Greenery of KKB; After a few hours of walking...i finally found a place where i can sit and relax myself for a couple of minutes..or shall we say..just take a breath of a fresh air before my journey continues. As you can see the two big stone next to me is the Trade Mark of the Bukit Kutu, located in small town of  Kampung Pertak, Kuala Kubu Bharu. I believed every journey have their own stories and histories.My walk start with a smile in a stranger place and my journey just begun...Kuala Kubu Bharu very relaxing town surrounding with a beautiful greenery, the small town looks like in the 60's,70's era during British time. The architecture of the old buildings still standing strong among the new buildings in town.Tye people in Kuala Kubu Bharu @KKB, enjoy a moderate lifestyle, most of the villagers work in government agencies some in private sectors as running their own businesses.And the best among all...
